Wakefield District Health & Care Partnership
Wakefield District Health & Care Partnership works to improve the health and wellbeing of local people, by reducing health inequalities, providing continuity of care and improving our services. Our partnership includes NHS organisations, Wakefield Council, Healthwatch Wakefield, housing, voluntary and community sector organisations. We are proud to be part of West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership.
Our communications strategy
Our communications strategy is designed to help us raise awareness of our partnership and its work amongst our staff and stakeholders. This includes support for our new Health and Wellbeing Strategy for 2022-25 (launching in spring 2022).
It also supports our transition to the new statutory framework for health and care services outlined in the Health and Social Care Act (subject to parliamentary approval for implementation in July 2022). You can read more about the Act on West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership’s website here.
