Come Along to Parent Autism Engagement Event

The event is part of our ongoing commitment to improving the process and pathway for the diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Are you the parent /carer of a child who is going through or has recently been through the autism diagnosis process?

We would like to invite you to an event that we are holding at Brook House Working Mens Club, 221 Barnsley Road, Wakefield WF1 5NU from 12.30 to 14.30 on 27th March 2019.

There will be refreshments available. This event is part of our ongoing commitment to improving the process and pathway for the diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and we are keen to get your views and opinions in order that we may continue to improve the pathway.

There will also be representation from Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team and parent support groups such as TEAM, KIDZAWARE and the Wakefield Early Support Advice Information and Liaison Service (WESAIL service).

We are looking to seek some feedback on materials that we have been revising following suggestions from parents about ensuring paperwork and reports are more accessible which came up at the previous engagement sessions that have been held in November 2018 and January 2019 and would welcome your views on these materials.

If you are able to attend or unable to attend the event but would still like to contribute please email mellissa.mackellkids.orguk to share your views or confirm your attendance. We look forward to seeing on the 27th March 2019.
